WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY 2023

Get your CRAZY SOCKS ON and join us to support YOUR DsUpNorth! Each company has generously offered to donate a portion of sales on the date listed to our organization. Tell all of your family and friends to attend one of these Food/Fundraiser events to support us! PANERA BREAD (3/21): Below is the voucher you need to show at Panera Bread. You can take a pic, save on your phone and show it to your waitstaff.

SPRING EGG HUNT
APRIL 1st AT SILVER LAKE RECREATIONAL AREA EGG HUNT for all our members young and old! You are welcome to bring a basket and hunt some goodie-filled eggs. Silver Lake Recreational Area (a Garfield Township Park) located on East Silver Lake Road. The egg hunt will begin at 10:00am.
NOTE: In case of inclement weather, we will announce by 8:00am, via Facebook and email, if the Egg Hunt is postponed. If this happens, we will have a makeup Egg Hunt later in April. Due to the inclement weather, we are regretfully cancelling the Egg Hunt scheduled for this morning. We are sorry, but look forward to seeing you April 22. SATURDAY, APRIL 15TH MOOMERS (4/15): We are celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness at MOOMERS! No vouchers needed. Just show up and enjoy that delicious Moomers ice-cream. Volunteers are appreciated to help set up awareness materials and offer insight to Down syndrome awareness.

MUD, SWEAT, AND BEERS
SATURDAY, MAY 6TH FUNDRAISER! This is kind of a 2-for event. You get to watch some bike racing while volunteering/fundraising for our group. 16 Volunteers are needed to help direct traffic and keep cyclists safe throughout the nearby subdivision. We are NOT out in the woods but stationed within the Holliday Hills neighborhood.
Duties include: -Directing Traffic -Cheering on cyclists -Arrive at 8:30am to get station assignments and safety vest. -Leave 12:00pm (apx.) -BONUS: Noise makers and DONUTS provided!! Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for this event, Amy DeHaan at 231-357-8107 |
